WildCat Shakti is a Mother/Daughter collaborative bringing you a variety of experiences to connect you to self, community and nature. Activities include yoga and nature connectivity. Both trained in Akhanda Yoga with Yogrishi Vishvuketi in the Himalayan foothills at Rishikesh. Akhanda yoga is a holistic approach combining asana, pranayama, meditation, philosophy and mantra. Rachael has completed 500 hour yoga teacher training in Akhanda Yoga, 100 hour Yoga Life Coaching, prenatal yoga and yoga for children. Angela also has 200 hour Akhanda Yoga complimented with a 40 hour Well Women Yoga Therapy certificate having attended training with Uma Dinsmore Tuli at Gravito Portugal 2018.

Shakti Women - Well Woman Yoga

Yoga for women's health and vitality.
Using yoga asana to connect you to your innate shakti energy. I will introduce you to Akhanda Yoga and womb yoga.
A path to wholeness Akhanda yoga is a traditional approach to yoga developed by Yogrishi Vishvketu. Akhanda means indivisible, entire, whole, and each class includes a blend of asana, pranayama, mantra, relaxation and meditation,
I also introduce some gentle nourishing flows developed by Uma Dinsmore Tuli in her approach womb yoga - yoga for women's health and vitality.

Our nature based activities are designed to help create a deep sense wonder as we journey through the landscape. Activities are engaging and fun and can be designed for whatever you have in mind.

Wild Women Wanders - guided walks in the landscape where we connect to nature through story, including yoga and nature based activities.  

Nature based activities - for families including woodland and coastal activities, fun learning for all members of the family. 

 

Guided walks exploring natural and cultural heritage.

 

Eco-therapy tailored activities to encourage a greater sense of being all these are crafted for your health and well-being needs.  

Mindfulness and mediation sessions in nature.

Education & Outreach

We are currently developing our education and outreach activities. We work all age ranges from school to adult groups.  Activities include yoga and mindfulness. Nature based and environmental education.

WildCat Shakti at a Glance

A Bit of Background

Angela brings you yoga for women and nature connections. Her passion is deeply rooted in her love of nature and wandering in the landscape. She has trained and gained practical experience in Coastal Activity Leadership, Bronze national navigation award, BELA basic expedition leadership award, Eco-therapy and recently completed Permaculture Design Certificate. She also taught at Dundee University where she also graduated with a BSc Environmental Management. She has years of experience in leading and facilitating projects for people of all ages from practical conservation to eco-activities. WildCat Shakti is a new social enterprise to promote deeper connections to nature whilst also exploring our true nature through positive & holistic health and wellbeing practices.

Rachael developed  Akhanda Soul Yoga where she brings to her practice a unique wonderful soulful authentic experience for everyone to feel bliss! Rachael loves exploring the OM through mountains, snowboarding, music, adventure and creativity. She has lived and worked in London, Brighton and the French Alps.
